Advantages of a Compact Loader

Compact loaders are versatile tools on construction sites because they offer numerous advantages: they have small dimensions, are lightweight, highly maneuverable, and can be used in various ways. A compact loader is a multifunctional vehicle as it can be equipped with various attachments. In addition to the loading bucket for bulk materials, sweepers, earth augers, snow blades, or trenchers can be attached. This eliminates the need to rent additional construction machinery.

What to Consider in Choosing a Compact Loader

When choosing a compact loader on Rentmas, you should consider the terrain of the construction site. Keep in mind the following points:
Compact loaders with wheel drives are suitable for compact terrain as they are equipped with all-wheel drive and hydraulic motors. They allow turning on the spot through skid-steer steering. For soft or slippery terrain, a compact loader with track drives is recommended. The greater weight of the vehicle distributes pressure over a larger surface area, improving traction.
For delicate terrain such as golf courses, compact loaders with special tracks are best. They exert less pressure and have a smooth profile.

Construction and Technical Characteristics of a Compact Loader

Before renting a compact loader, it is important to familiarize yourself with its structure. There are compact loaders with wheel or track drives. The wheels or tracks are fixed, and for changing the direction of travel, skid-steer steering is used. The lateral pairs of wheels or tracks can be driven at different speeds or in opposite directions.
The maximum speed of a compact loader is usually 20 km/h. The weight varies depending on the size of the compact loader, with smaller models weighing less than one ton and larger models reaching three tons or more. The payload varies accordingly, ranging from a few hundred kilograms to 1.5 tons. A characteristic feature of a compact loader is its narrow width, which in most models ranges from 100 to 150 cm.
The loading bucket of the compact loader can typically hold more than one cubic meter of material. During the lifting process, the bucket performs a radial movement, moving backward to deposit the material.
Compact Loader with Road Approval
Compact loaders are primarily designed for use on construction site grounds. However, there are specific rules for road travel. In general, loaders with a maximum speed of up to 20 km/h are exempt from approval and only require an operating permit to be driven on the road.

Uses of a Compact Loader

These devices are ideal for use in confined conditions on construction sites, in gardening and landscaping, or as a loader in agriculture, as they stand out for their small size, light weight, and high maneuverability.
